TPE, full silicone and hybrid Aimi Doll configurations
A material label becomes more useful when it specifies the head, body and finish individually.

Read both component fields
Vivant’s Aimi catalogue has separate TPE and silicone groupings. An example of a hybrid appears on the Joydoll Beatrice page, where the head is listed as silicone and the body as TPE. Look for that component breakdown before comparing how a product should be cleaned, stored or handled.
Consider contact and handling
Retailer material guides describe TPE as requiring particular attention around dye transfer and compatible products. Both TPE and silicone need proper cleaning, drying and storage. Consider how much fabric contact the model will have, where it will be supported and how easy it will be to follow the instructions supplied for that finish.
Treat the finish as another specification
Surface texture and makeup vary between models and can require different treatment from the rest of the product. Ask what cleaner is approved for the body and what treatment the seller recommends around the face, hairline and decorative details. Photograph the original finish under neutral light if you want a useful record for later comparison.
Keep care guidance tied to the quote
Add the materials to your configuration note. If the seller proposes a different head, ask whether that changes the care guidance or the fitting. Keep the written answer with the order and use it when buying care supplies. That is especially useful for a combination with two different materials.
